Legal Notice

This legal notice identifies the provider of the website www.spyral.lu and of the Spyral service, as required by Article 5 of the e-Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC) and the Luxembourg law of 14 August 2000 on electronic commerce.

Service provider

Spyral is not yet incorporated. SPYRAL, S.à r.l.-S, a simplified limited liability company (société à responsabilité limitée simplifiée) under Luxembourg law, is in formation: its registration with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register (Registre de commerce et des sociétés, RCS Luxembourg) has not been completed. Until it is, the website and the service are operated by the person or persons named above, acting in the name and on behalf of the company in formation.

The company does not yet have a registered office, an RCS number or a VAT identification number. Each will be shown above as soon as it has been issued. On registration, the company takes over the commitments made on its behalf, as set out in the Terms of Service.

Spyral is not a professional of the financial sector (PSF) and is not supervised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF). If our activity requires a business permit (autorisation d'établissement) under Luxembourg law, the permit number and the authority that issued it will be shown here once the permit has been granted.

Hosting

The website and the Spyral application are hosted by:

• Vercel Inc., which runs the application. Our server functions run in Vercel's Frankfurt region (Germany). Static files, such as images and scripts, are delivered through Vercel's global network.
• Supabase, Inc., which provides the database and the file storage, hosted in the Amazon Web Services Frankfurt region (Germany).

AI features run at providers in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, as described on the AI transparency page. Every provider that processes customer personal data for us is listed, with its role and location, on the Sub-processors page.

Responsibility for content

The person or persons named above as managing Spyral are responsible for the content of this website.

We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and current. It is general information about Spyral and its service. It is not accounting, tax, legal or other professional advice, and it does not form part of any contract. Use of the service is governed by the Terms of Service and, for personal data that Spyral processes on a customer's behalf, by the Data Processing Agreement.

Documents and other content that customers store in their Spyral workspaces belong to those customers. They are private, they are never published on this website, and Spyral does not monitor them. To report content you believe to be illegal, follow the procedure on the Digital Services Act page.

Intellectual property

The text, graphics, design and software of this website and of the Spyral service are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights held by Spyral or its licensors. You may view this website and print or save pages for your own information. Any other use, including copying, adapting, distributing or publishing its content, requires our prior written permission, except where the law allows it without permission.

The names of other companies and of their products, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, DocuSign and Stripe, are trademarks of their owners. We name them only to describe how Spyral works with them, and naming them does not imply any endorsement. Spyral includes open-source software, which is used under the licences that apply to it.

Links to other websites

This website links to websites run by others, for example our service providers and public authorities. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. If you believe that a link on this website leads to unlawful content, tell us at contact@spyral.lu and we will review it and remove the link where appropriate.
